Campsite pitch

By ‘own family’ we mean: parents and children living at home under the age of 21. The tariffs apply only to your own family with children living at home. Should other persons or families use your caravan or tent, then they’re due the regular camping fee per person per night.
Tariffs are net of VAT.
Payment 50% upon reservation, 50% 4 weeks before arrival

Departure campers

The overnight stay runs from 1200 hrs. in the afternoon until 1200 hrs in the afternoon the next day. If you should decide to leave after 1200 hrs. but before 1900 hrs., outside of high season and school holidays, you’ll be charged half an overnight stay extra. During high season the pitch has to be vacated before 1200 hrs. on the day of departure.

Please place your caravan or tent exactly in the middle of your pitch. The middle of the pitch is indicated by the pole/closet with number.

Reservation campsite pitch

The minimal reservation period per pitch is 1 week in high season (changeover days are Friday and Saturday). If you’ve made a reservation for a special campsite pitch, we can’t provide an absolute guarantee that that particular campsite pitch or bungalow will be available. Circumstances might occur causing us to be restrictive. We ask for your understanding in this matter.

Online reservation

Your reservation is final only when you’ve received the final booking confirmation from campsite It Wiid within 48 hours after making the reservation.

Payment campsite pitch

Upon reservation, we ask for a down payment of 50% and payment of the remaining 50% four weeks before your arrival. When you’ve made a reservation for high season, and have paid the entire invoice, we’ll send you the key to the entrance barrier and swimming pool entry tickets. This way you can skip the check-in queue and drive straight to your campsite spot so you can start enjoying your well-earned holiday.

Online reservation

Your reservation is final only when you’ve received the final booking confirmation from campsite It Wiid within 48 hours after making the reservation.

Cancellation fund

Possibly you’ve booked your holiday well in advance. Plans have been made, trips have been traced, and the whole family is eagerly looking forward to the future holiday. And then suddenly something happens causing for your holiday to be cancelled. Now what? Is all your money gone now? Not necessarily. By participating in the cancellation fund of campsite It Wiid you can save on the normally applicable costs in case of a forced cancellation. Compensation through the cancellation fund of It Wiid will be awarded in the following cases only:

Sudden illness and/or accidents relating to one of the family members. A doctor’s statement is required.
Serious illness or death of non-accompanying family members (1st or 2nd degree).
Unexpected draft for military service, other than mobilisation.
Breadwinner’s involuntary unemployment.
Serious damage to business or home, to which the presence of the guest(s) is required.
When you have to move out of your house unexpectedly or have been allocated a rental house.
Not being able to use the means of transportation or campsite because of theft, fire, or unexpected engine failure or car damage three weeks prior to your planned arrival.
In the case that cancellation is necessary, but the referred to provisions do not apply, we will try to make an appropriate arrangement in agreement with the person who made the reservation.
The cancellation insurance is valid until the day of arrival.

You automatically participate in the cancellation fund. If you don’t wish to participate, you can deduct the amount for the cancellation costs from the down payment. The participation costs are 4% of the total amount due of the rented objects.

Terms and Conditions

We apply the standard terms and conditions of Recron (Branch Association for entrepreneurs in the leisure industry in the Netherlands).
Our terms and conditions of delivery have been filed at the Chamber of Commerce in Leeuwarden freely obtainable from the reception desk.

Management reserves the right to deny any person access to the campsite.
