During a holiday at Camping It Wiid, an activity on the water should not be missed. The campsite is located in the last National Park in the Netherlands; The Alde Feanen. An area consisting of creeks, large and small ponds with islands and large waterways.
The campsite has a large boat rental, Boat Rental Eernewoude, so that you can enjoy the National Park from the water. Rent your favorite water transport directly from bij Bootverhuur Eernewoude.

Sailing courses It Wiid
During the Dutch May holidays and in July and August you can participate in sailing lessons from the campsite. The sailing lessons are for young and old. Learn to sail in a fun and relaxed way!
Sailing lessons in an Optimist, for children aged 7-12
Learn the basics of sailing in 4 half-day sessions of 2 hours (in the morning from 10-12 am or in the afternoon from 1-3 pm) and receive an It Wiid diploma! What do you need to participate? A swimming certificate and wearing rain gear. There are 2 instructors per 1 or 2 children.
Sailing lessons in a Valk, from 12 years and older
Learn to sail in a Polyvalk in 4 half-day sessions of 3 hours (in the morning from 9 am to 12 noon and in the afternoon from 1 to 4 pm). It is mandatory to wear rain gear and life jackets during the course. There are 4 students in the boat and 1 instructor. You can also share one ‘Valk’ with your own family (max. 4 people - minimum age 12 years or older per person).
