General frequently asked questions
1. Is there internet in the park?
There is internet available at the campsite. At a camping pitch you get 1 free code per family. You have unlimited internet access at the accommodations (own router). Need more codes? You can buy these at the reception. All houses on the ‘Buitenplaats’ have free internet.
2. How is the TV connection arranged?
GOOD TO KNOW: In 2019 the TV system switched completely to digital television at Camping It Wiid.
You can receive our signal if your TV has a DVB-C receiver. The TV must also be connected with a good COAX / CAI cable. On arrival you can find the channels by resetting your TV via "initial setting" or "reset". Upon arrival you will receive a manual with tips for setting up. Is it not possible or if you have questions? Please contact the reception.
3. Is barbecuing allowed in the park?
Yes, barbecuing is allowed. Campfires are not allowed.
4. What is the public transport like in the environment of Earnewald?
There is no stop in the village. You can, however, be picked up by the local bus; this will bring you to the bus stop on the N31 (Drachten-Leeuwarden). The neighborhood bus only runs on request. (Tel. 0031(0)800-2802802).
5. Is there a launderette in the park?
The launderette can be found on the camping site next to the Kwetternest and on the ‘Buitenplaats’ near the slipway. A coin for the washing machine costs € 5 and is available at the reception. You can also buy coins for the dryer for € 2.50 and soap tablets of € 1 each.
